Built to magnetize securely to 14-gauge or stronger metal strips attached to your ceiling, it supports up to 20 lbs when properly installed, making it strong enough for lights or backdrops.

 

The swivel design absorbs bumps and movement, reducing the risk of falls during family sessions, pet shoots, or high-energy environments where equipment may get knocked. This added safety makes it perfect for photographers who need reliable overhead mounting without relying on extra stands.

 

Pair the base with an extension pole (sold separately, not a TD Product) to mount your preferred light, or attach J-Hooks (sold separately) to hang backdrops directly from the ceiling. Either way, the Basic Swivel Ceiling Magnetic Base provides a space-saving solution to secure your setup and keep the floor clear for clients and props.
