Enhancing Santa’s Magic: Javon’s Journey and How TogDrop® Solutions Elevates His Santa Experience Photography Studio
Through an online Santa workshop, we had the pleasure of meeting Javon Longieliere, a talented and versatile photographer who later joined us for our TogDrop® roadshow. From the start, Javon stood out with his genuine passion for creating unique experiences for his clients. His dedication to capturing moments beyond the ordinary made him an ideal collaborator and friend to TogDrop® Solutions.

From Music to Photography—Javon’s Path to Creating Seamless Santa Experience Photography
Reflecting on his journey into photography, Javon shared that it wasn’t his original plan. Initially, he had his sights set on a career as a concert musician, dreaming of becoming a professional trombonist from the time he was in fifth grade. However, fate took an unexpected turn. While signing up for college courses, Javon chose to major in French instead of music performance, which led him to a brief stint as a French teacher. It was during this time that he began to revisit his love for photography—a passion that had always been part of his life, thanks to his mother’s influence.

In 2001, Javon decided to open his own studio, intending to be a small-town portrait photographer. Yet, as often happens, his path evolved. By 2003, he had photographed his first weddings and found himself captivated by the world of wedding photography, particularly the photojournalistic style, which allowed him to tell stories through images. His talent quickly gained recognition, and in 2004, he photographed his first major city wedding in Paris. From there, Javon’s wedding photography journey took him across Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States, capturing celebrations in beautiful destinations.

The Birth of The Santa Experience: Creating Immersive Santa Sessions
In 2012, Javon decided to step back from international wedding photography, and by 2015, he chose to focus on being closer to home. This shift led him to experiment with various types of photography, from family portraits to editorial work and commercial fashion. Eventually, his work evolved once more. During the pandemic, a local store approached him with a unique request—to photograph Santa sessions. But Javon had no interest in offering a typical Santa shoot. He envisioned something more interactive and meaningful, giving birth to The Santa Experience.
Unlike the usual “mall Santa” experience, Javon’s Santa Experience allows children to spend quality time with Santa, engaging in hands-on activities like baking cookies or helping out in Santa’s mailroom. In one memorable setup, children assist Santa with organizing letters in a mailroom, where letters magically “fly” around the room. This immersive, magical approach sets Javon’s sessions apart, providing children with a lasting holiday memory rather than just a photo.

How TogDrop® Solutions Transformed Javon’s Studio for a Safe, Seamless Santa Experience
TogDrop® has become an invaluable tool for Javon’s elaborate Santa Experience setups. With large, multi-dimensional sets that require seamless backdrop transitions, TogDrop® allows him to put up and switch between backgrounds effortlessly. This saves him time and eliminates the struggle of aligning corners and stabilizing the backgrounds—something that used to be a logistical headache. By securely attaching his backdrops to walls rather than relying on numerous background stands, Javon’s studio setup is now more efficient and safer for both his young clients and their parents, minimizing tripping hazards and creating a smooth workflow.

With an already exceptional studio, Javon’s creative vision continues to flourish. Our TogDrop® system has helped him streamline his workflow, allowing him to focus on creating an extraordinary experience for each client.
