If you’ve ever tried building a corner setup in a small studio, you already know, it’s a juggling act. Stands take up too much space, backdrops sag, and switching scenes mid-session can feel like a workout. We’ve been there, and that’s why we created the TogDrop® Metal Wall Corner Backdrop System.

 

This setup gives you the freedom to use your metal wall to build out a clean, professional photo corner, without the clutter of light stands. Whether you’re working in a garage studio, tight rental space, or just trying to fit more into a narrow wall, this system helps you make the most of what you have.

 

You’ll choose from our magnetic bases to match your studio setup. Whether you need something adjustable, compact, or heavy-duty, we’ve got you covered. Adjust your height with the quick-release levers, drop your crossbars into the saddles, and let the system do the heavy lifting.

 

Two strong magnets help bring your corner backdrops together for a seamless look, and Pole Stretchers tighten up your backdrop if it needs it.

 

We designed this with real sessions in mind. Sessions where you’ve got to pivot fast between looks, where every inch of floor space matters, and where your studio needs to work as hard as you do.

Corner Metal Wall Installation Kit Overview – Included

 

 

This installation kit includes the metal strips that install directly onto your wall, creating the mounting surface your TogDrop Solutions Single Drop system attaches to.

 

 

Your Metal Wall Corner System Install Kit includes the modified 16-gauge metal strip required for one backdrop position, plus two additional 20-gauge metal strips installed at the bottom of the wall to help pull your backdrop tight.

• 2 – Modified Metal Wall Strip (16-Gauge) or 2 – Sheet Metal (26-Gauge)  for one backdrop position – Depends on the Base you select.
• 2 – additional 20-gauge bottom wall strips

How It Works

 

 

The upper modified metal strip creates the mounting surface for your Corner Drop system. The two lower 20-gauge strips install near the bottom of the wall and allow you to properly add tension the backdrop.

 

 

This creates a secure, wall-mounted backdrop position that stays aligned and pulled tight, without stands taking up floor space.

 

 

No additional installation kits are needed unless you are adding another separate backdrop position elsewhere in your studio.
